The Coach Contract is a useful tool to create clarity that leads to commitment to both the process, the stakeholders, and the coach.  If singing the contract helps with that aim, great – sign it.  If, for whatever reason, it won’t help them – feel free to not sign it.  The decision is solely between you and your client. However, having a clear agreement is a very powerful tool in coaching. If the client opts not to sign it, we encourage you to procure some other written agreement to establish ground rules for the coaching relationship.
